Big Doe Contest

There will be a biggest doe contest on December 31, 2011.  To be eligible for this contest you must have purchased a Big Buck ticket and must have your ticket present when you turn you doe in.  You will not have to turn in your ticket and will be able to use it for any buck that you turn in.  The doe that weighs the most will win a  $500 gift certificate to participating businesses.  You must be in compliance with contest rules.  Your doe must be turned in to Venison's Creations by 8:00pm on Dec. 31, 2011.  

PSE Bow Drawing

For each ticket you buy, your name will be put in a drawing for a new PSE Compound Bow with accessories to be drawn for at the end of the contest.  

Monthly Winners

The hunter that kills the largest buck each month will win a $500 gift certificate to participating businesses.  There will be a winner for October, November, December, and January.

Where to buy tickets

In Camden:  Coast to Coast, Loftin's Bait Shop, McDonald's Grocery.  In Thomasville:  Dunn's Sports.  In Safford:  Safford Tire and Hardware.   

st c     Must comply with all State of Alabama whitetail deer game regulations.  Must be a free range whitetail deer.   
     Must be killed in Wilcox, Dallas, Monroe, Butler, Lowndes, Marengo, and Clarke Counties.     Antlers must be attached to head when turned in.  
      All deer will be scored on a gross Boone and Crocket scoring system, all scores are final, and no scores will be released until end of the season.  
       You may not have your deer scored by any outside parties until contest is over.    
      A ticket must be purchased before each buck is killed.  One ticket per scored buck.    
       The winners of the top 3 big bucks are required to take a lie detector test before they will receive their prizes.    
      All deer must be turned in by February 1, 2012.  
       If you do not comply with these rules you will automatically be disqualified.
